About the Florida Gifted Network The mission of the Florida Gifted Network is to educate the public on the needs of gifted learners and to advocate effectively for issues that affect the rights of these exceptional students and the services they receive. |
The Florida Gifted Network (FGN), formerly
PALS, is a non-profit Florida organization. FGN focuses on providing resources
and advocacy for gifted learners and their parents.

nurturing gifted learners. |

FGN
engages in advocacy and networking activities to ensure funding for gifted
programs and appropriate educational services for gifted learners. |

Monitoring state and national legislative and administrative issues and taking
action in support of our gifted learners.
• Liaison activities with DOE which provide a voice for
parents of the gifted on statewide committees and workgroups.

Networking with other organizations such as the Coalition for the Education of
Exceptional Students (CEES) and the Florida Association for the Gifted (FLAG)
• Hosting the Florida-Gifted-Alert to provide timely
Calls To Action and Updates on legislation & rules
• Offering assistance to county-wide parent groups.
